Using Kwik Fit as a Fleet Driver

At Kwik Fit, we understand that when you have a problem with a tyre or mechanical issue, you want a quality service, expert advice and the convenience of a local solution available 7-days-a-week.

When you attend a centre, or call Kwik Fit Mobile, please make the team aware that you are a fleet driver and have to hand who manages your vehicle. Is it a lease company, or maybe your actual employer? Our systems are often able to verify this against your vehicle registration but having this information will help a lot.

Fleet Customer Service Charter

The Fleet Customer Service Charter is our commitment to service all fleet customers within one hour for tyre work.

Within 15 minutes of arrival, our staff will inform you of how long it will take to complete the tyre work on your vehicle. If it is likely that it will take longer than our one hour commitment, our staff will offer you the following options:

  1. To continue to wait with an estimated time of job completion given
  2. To make appointment to come back at a time which is convenient for you
  3. Or the option to make an appointment with Kwik Fit Mobile instead

Fleet Procedures and how they work

Our centres are tasked with carrying out a few additional checks when it comes to fleet jobs. This includes having to complete a fleet inspection and present this for authority before carrying out any work. Sometimes this is carried out electronically and even managed by the Kwik Fit Fleet team on behalf of the fleet company.

What do I need to bring with me?

For all appointments please make sure to bring your locking wheel nut key with you. If your vehicle has locking wheel nuts fitted then we will need the key in order to remove the wheels. If you’re not sure where to find your locking wheel nut key, it can usually be found either in the glove compartment or underneath the boot liner along with the spare tyre.

Tyre checks you can do at home

As the only point of contact your vehicle has with the road, your tyres go through a lot on a daily basis. We recommend drivers get into the routine of checking all of their tyres every two weeks – checking tyre pressure, tread wear and general condition. If you have a spare tyre, don’t forget to check that too!
