Each month, our mailbox is filled with messages from customers expressing their thanks for the service they have received, either at one of our 650 centres nationwide or from our mobile fitting service.
September is a busy month for MOT tests so naturally many of the comments we received this month were messages of thanks (and relief!) for helping your vehicle through its MOT check but, more importantly, for explaining clearly when and where work needed to be done.
As always, thank you to each and every one of you who took the time to write. Here are a few of our favourites from September:

I have used the local branch of Kwik-Fit on and off for the last 3 years or so. They have carried out the MOT on my van yearly but this year the place where I take my cherished MGB GT couldn't do the MOT so reluctantly I booked it into Kwik-Fit. The service I received was outstanding. Everything had a cover on it so as not to mark the interior and I was MOST impressed. In fact the manager and staff there have been absolutely brilliant, I have had a new set of alloys recently and the manager and staff were courteous and efficient throughout. I have to give credit where credit is due and I haven't seen the level of service that's offered in our local branch for a very long time.

Unfortunately, the car I took into Kwik Fit last Saturday failed its MOT. Although it was clearly pointed out what the problem involved (front offside wheel scuffing bodywork) the cause was less clear. Having eliminated the obvious it was decided to call in your Master Technician the following day. Having analysed the fault, he rang me to explain carefully the remedy including the cost. Let me say, the whole episode was brilliantly handled from Ray the Manager through to Lee the Master Technician. Lee was excellent in his communication clearly and simply explaining the problem and remedy. it is a real benefit to Kwik Fit to have such excellent people with the necessary expertise actually speaking to the customer, instead of "Dealer Receptionists" working to a script. Please make known my delight to the people concerned as they deserve acknowledging.

I was very impressed with the level of service provided at this particular centre. Prior to the arranged appointment I discussed the issues with a staff member called Dean who listened to all concerns I'd raised in respect of my vehicle. A price was subsequently agreed and an appointment duly facilitated. Whilst the work was carried out, other issues unbeknown to me were identified. I was fully appraised in respect of the additional work that required addressing, which after agreeing for them to be carried out, resulted in the vehicle passing its annual MOT. The original replaced parts were retained and presented to me, which justified the replacement of them. Overall a friendly atmosphere at a garage I'd certainly visit again.

My MOT had expired and I needed my car urgently the following Monday. I rang round 5 other garages early on the Saturday morning without success and was rapidly losing heart by the time I rang KwikFit. Carl was extremely helpful and kindly offered to take the car in even though they were fully booked. Nothing was too much trouble and he went out of his way to get the tyres I needed so that the car could pass its MOT and I could get it back that day. Thank you so much for all your help and I will happily come back again.
