Apprenticeships - Training

Off the Job

'Off the Job' training means that the training is carried out at one of our three Training Academys, Derby, Gloucester and Harlow. You will attend a training course once every three months.

Training courses are very hands-on and practical however there is always an element of theory involved. This means that there are classroom components within all training courses, which is vital to provide the foundation knowledge for the subject in question.

Through the 2 year apprenticeship, training courses will focus on the following products, Tyres, Battery and Charging Systems, Exhausts, Lubes and Oils, Cutting and Welding, Steering and Suspension, Wheel Alignment, Air Conditioning, Glass Repair and Brakes.

On the Job

You will work alongside your In Centre Trainer who will work with you through your apprenticeship to help and assist putting your training into practice in the centre.
