Full stripedown & rebuild.

Everything in the Solid Fettle, plus:

  • Both hubs are taken apart and bearings inspected for wear, replacements installed if necessary.
  • Headset is taken apart and inspected for wear, replacement quoted if necessary.
  • The bike is stripped and cleaned thoroughly.
  • During the rebuild, we will make sure to use the correct paste compounds and lubricants, re-torquing components to the manufacturer specific requirements to get those marginal gains.

Whatever your bike needs, you can simply book through Fettle's online booking system - arranging drop-off directly to a Fettle at Kwik Fit bike repair centre or even home/office collection in our pick up zones within London's M25, Bristol and Cambridge.

Bicycle and electric bike services

Free bike assessment

If you're unsure why your bike's behaving strangely, Fettle's bike mechanics will conduct a free, no-obligation assessment to diagnose the issue and give you a quote for repair work.

Bike repair

For a known issue, Fettle can do any bike repair, as well as replacing any parts, tyres, chains, brake cables necessary. Their expert mechanics will do everything needed to get your two wheels spinning like they should.

Bike servicing

A service is the best way to ensure your bike is running smoothly. Services include full safety checks, adjustments, parts replacements where needed and cleaning (depending on the service level you choose).

Puncture repairs

A puncture's a great way to deflate a day but Fettle will have your inner tube replaced, tyre problems sorted, tyres pumped and bike roadworthy again in no time.

Damage assessments

For insurance purposes, the Fettle mechanics can conduct damage assessments to give an accurate evaluation of cost. You will receive a report with all the information your insurer will need to file a claim.

Bike assembly

If you've just bought a new bike and want the peace of mind of having it assembled by an expert, you can arrange for one of the Fettle mechanics to build it and ensure it is set up correctly for you.

Our bike repair locations

Our very first bike repair centre within an existing Kwik Fit centre was opened close to the heart of Bristol. More recently we've opened our doors in Cambridge as well as five new locations across North and South London in addition to the existing three Fettle locations also in the capital. All our locations offer bike repairs, maintenance and even a bicycle MOT for both traditional mechanical bikes and e-bikes too.

Can't make it to a centre? Book a collection instead!

We know getting your bike to us can be a hassle, especially if you are in need of a bike repair. That's why Fettle are offering a bike collection and return service in all areas where we offer bike repairs and servicing. That's right, your bike will be collected from your doorstep, fixed and then returned, all within 72 hours. You'll even get an e-quote to approve before any work starts, so there's no nasty surprises.
