Goodyear Operations S.A. has initiated a safety recall for its 225/45R17 (94Y) GOODYEAR EAGLE F1 ASYMMETRIC 6 tyres produced during week 01 of 2025 [with DOT code : 1DM7R JJTR 0125] (“recall tyre”).
A small number of tyres produced do not comply with Regulation R30 of the Economic Commission for Europe of the United Nations (UN/ECE). This non-compliance could potentially result in tread deformation or crown separation at high speeds, which may lead to a loss of vehicle control and increase the risk of injuries. There are no reports of any accidents, loss of control or of any damage or injury related to the recall tyres but this program is part of the company’s commitment to product quality and safety.

Any customers who may have purchased the recall tyres should contact the Kwik Fit Customer Care team immediately so that we can make arrangements for you to visit your local centre and have the tyres replaced as soon as possible.
