Servicing your BMW X1

We recommend a full service every 12,000 miles or 12 months - whichever comes first. This will go through all the necessary safety and condition checks, as well as adjustments and replacements varying from seatbelt checks to wiring safety reviews.
For drivers who use their X1 as a commuting car - perhaps for short, daily trips - we recommend an Interim Service every 6 months or 6,000 miles. This will ensure that common problem areas such as excess material in the exhaust system and oil system get looked at and sorted before they compound into larger, expensive fixes.

Why not combine with your MOT?
At your local Kwik Fit garage, you can combine an upcoming MOT with a full service. This means that any problems are able to be addressed before an MOT is run, thus avoiding an MOT failure going on your record.
If your X1 is less than three years old, you don't need to worry about an MOT, but this is a legal requirement for all vehicles older than three years.
BMW Manufacturer Service
