Mercedes Benz A-Class Full Service
Our Full Service is ideal as an annual maintenance programme for your car. We recommend your car receives a Full Service every 12,000 miles or 12 months - whichever is sooner. A Full Service each year will reduce the risk of breakdown and can help maintain the value of the vehicle. Our Full Service includes all items included in the Interim Service package plus a thorough inspection of your engine and other components including replacement air filter and power steering fluid topped up (where required).

The actual price of your service will be calculated based on the recommended oil for your vehicle. The price will be higher for vehicles requiring synthetic or specialist oils.

Is my warranty really protected?
Yes, provided your vehicle is still within its warranty period, a Kwik Fit stamp in your logbook won't invalidate your warranty agreement. In 2002, European Parliament passed a law on Block Exemption deeming the practice of manufacturers forcing car owners to go to dealerships for servicing in order to uphold warranty as too restrictive. As a result, all manufacturers must make available to us their service schedules and on-board computer information which means a manufacturer service from Kwik Fit won't invalidate your warranty.

Servicing for PHEV models
Due to the increasing popularity of PHEV models amongst motorists and car manufactures we also offer PHEV servicing here at KwikFit. As PHEV models work in a similar way to combustion engines, they also require a full service at the same intervals as their standard petrol and diesel counterparts.
What's involved in a PHEV service?
Even though PHEV variants operate in a similar way to internal combustion engine vehicles, if you're looking to service your Mercedes A250E there are several additional checks that will need to be undertaken as part of a PHEV service.
- Brake binding check - Regenerative braking is an integral part of how PHEV vehicles operate. However, brake binding can prevent this key mechanism from working as intended, which is why as part of your Mercedes A-Class hybrid service we check for potential brake binding and carry out any repairs if required.
- Inverter coolant check - Checking for coolant leaks is also an integral and important part of a service on a Mercedes A250E hybrid. However, inverter coolant isn't the same as engine coolant, inverter coolant is required for the energy conversion that takes place between the DC and AC power in the electric motor.
- Cable check - A visual inspection of high voltage cables will be carried out; the purpose is to check for external damage and ensure all cables are in full working order.
- Fault code check - This check will ensure there aren't any faults with key components such as the vehicle's battery and all other parts monitored by the vehicle's ECUs (Electronic Control Units).
