Our most frequently asked questions

Although most common vehicle models are included in our system, some may not be listed. Please choose a model as close to yours as possible. The centre can amend the booking to show the correct details on your receipt.

Should your plans change, you can reschedule or cancel an appointment you made online using our Manage My Booking Section. You will need your booking reference, vehicle number plate and email address used to book the appointment handy in order to use this feature. This information can be found on your booking confirmation email. If you decide to cancel your order, any payment made will automatically be refunded to you.

Please note that it will not be possible to use the Manage My Booking tool for car mat or Road Hero spare wheel kit orders or if your appointment for any product or service is scheduled to take place in the next 24 hours. Please contact the team on 0800 75 76 77 and select Option 2 if you are not able to use the Manage My Booking function.

Further Information

If a vehicle fails its MOT, it does not meet legal requirements and must be repaired to comply with MOT testing standards. The MOT report will detail notes on the failure as well as advisory items that are suggested for attention but not yet outside of the parameters required to pass the test.

Please note that some Kwik Fit centres may be unable to carry out the necessary repair work required for your vehicle to pass its MOT. It’s best to check when booking by calling your local branch.

Kwik Fit policy is not to fit tyres or other parts that have been supplied by our customers rather than our own suppliers. This policy is agreed based on two considerations; firstly safety as we want to be sure that we can ensure the integrity of the parts, and secondly warranty support as this ensures clear responsibility under warranty if there are problems in the future with the product or service.

Accepted payment methods vary between centres. We advise that you call ahead to your local centre and check what payment methods they accept.

Sorry, Kwik Fit currently does not accept AMEX payments either in store or online at www.kwik-fit.com but we do offer several other payment methods including Mastercard, Visa, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Paypal.

Yes. You can either wait at the centre while your vehicle is being looked at or, if the repairs are going to take longer, leave the car with them and collect it when the work is completed.
